This bill appropriates $1,650,000 from the State General Fund to the Town of Bruce for various improvement projects during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. Specifically, the funds are allocated for renovations to the town square, including sprinkler system replacement and lot improvements ($125,000); water shut-off replacements ($200,000); the acquisition of a fire truck ($750,000); fencing improvements at the town park and the old National Guard Armory, along with lighting for soccer fields ($75,000); general water system line repairs ($250,000); and sewer system repairs, upgrades, and improvements ($250,000). The State Treasurer will disburse these funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer, and the act will take effect on July 1, 2026.
