This resolution formally adjusts committee assignments within the House of Representatives of the Thirty-third Legislature of the State of Hawaii for the 2026 Regular Session, primarily in response to the resignation of Representative Daniel Holt. It removes Representative Holt from his positions as Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, GIA Manager of the Finance Committee, and member of the Economic Development & Technology Committee and Tourism Committee. The resolution then reassigns roles to other representatives: Sean Quinlan is appointed Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, retaining his Majority Leader title and committee memberships. Linda Ichiyama is named Vice Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, keeping her Vice Speaker role and existing committee memberships. Kirstin Kahaloa is added as a member of the Legislative Management Committee, continuing as Majority Caucus Leader and in her other committee roles. Kyle T. Yamashita is moved from Revenue Manager of the Finance Committee to GIA Manager of the Finance Committee, while keeping his memberships on the Economic Development & Technology Committee and Tourism Committee. All other existing committee assignments remain unchanged unless specifically altered by this resolution.
