For 35 years, he served as a union officer, advocating for SMART members at the state level since 1992 and holding the position of state legislative director since 2009. Throughout his career, Mr. Edwards has been a strong proponent for workers' rights, believing they deserve a fair share of the wealth they help create, particularly within the transportation sector. The resolution directs the Principal Clerk of the House to send copies of this honor to State Representative Mitch Gore for distribution.
