This bill increases the membership of the State Properties Review Board from six to eight members, with the additional two members being appointed by the speaker of the House and president pro tempore of the Senate, and the minority leader of the House and minority leader of the Senate, respectively, starting July 1, 2026. It also increases the compensation for board members, with the chairperson receiving up to $45,000 annually and other members receiving up to $40,000 annually, both compensated at $300 per diem, and clarifies that no more than four members can be from the same political party. The State Properties Review Board is an entity responsible for reviewing state property transactions.
