It also establishes legal and privacy protections for healthcare providers who prescribe drugs for reproductive and gender-affirming health care, defining "legally protected health care activity" as such services permitted by state law, and preventing licensing or disciplinary actions against providers based on out-of-state actions related to these services, provided the conduct was legal in this state. Additionally, the bill allows for prescriptions for legally protected health care activity to list the practice or facility name and address instead of the individual prescriber's name and signature, to the extent permitted by federal law.
