These services, which can include things like group insurance, annuities, or health care coverage, would be provided under a contract with the city, and the city would be responsible for the costs associated with these services and their administration. The bill also makes a minor technical correction to the wording of the law and declares an emergency, making the changes effective on July 1, 2026.
