This bill modifies the membership of two state councils that advise on tourism and business development in Minnesota. The Explore Minnesota Tourism Council will be reduced in size from 35 to 25 voting members, with fewer representatives from statewide tourism associations and more representatives from each of the state's tourism marketing regions, and will now meet at least two times per year instead of four. These changes aim to adjust the focus and composition of these advisory bodies to better reflect current priorities in promoting Minnesota's livability, workforce, economic opportunity, and tourism.
