This bill appropriates funds for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Capital Development Board (CDB) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, totaling $57,543,600 from Other State Funds. Specifically, it allocates funds from the Capital Development Fund for personal services, state contributions to retirement and social security systems, and group insurance, and from the Capital Development Board Revolving Fund for similar personnel costs, as well as contractual services, job-related outreach, travel, commodities, printing, equipment, electronic data processing, telecommunication services, operation of auto equipment, facility condition assessments and analyses, project management tracking, and operational expenses. Additionally, the bill appropriates $500,000 from the Energy Transition Assistance Fund to the CDB for operational expenses and administration related to the Energy Transition Act, including the development of the Illinois Stretch Energy Code, and specifies that the act takes effect on July 1, 2026.
