This bill amends an existing law from 2011 that created a board of elections and registration for Brooks County, Georgia, by expanding the board from its current size to five members, with three members required to be present for official business (a quorum). Starting January 1, 2027, each member of the Brooks County Board of Commissioners will appoint one member to the elections board, and these appointments will need majority approval from the Board of Commissioners.
