Beyond her military service, Perkins is an entrepreneur who owns several businesses, including Nspired 2 Travel LLC, and is actively involved in various veteran and women-led organizations such as Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Foundation, Inc. and Empowered Sisterhoods of Veterans, Inc. She also serves on the board of Room to Bloom, a nonprofit community development organization, and is recognized for her commitment to empowerment, wellness, and community engagement, with the Secretary of the Senate directed to provide her with a copy of this resolution.
