This resolution recognizes and commends Sergeant Major (Ret.) Cendric D. Olds for her 28 years of dedicated service in the United States Army Reserves, from April 1990 to November 2018, during which she courageously protected fellow Americans and held significant leadership roles, including being the first Senior Enlisted Advisor Sergeant Major and Army Liaison Officer at the Joint Personal Effects Depot, where she provided support to over 1,300 family members during Dignified Transfers and Honorable Movements at Dover Air Force Base. Her distinguished career also involved engagement with senior national leaders during casualty incidents and overseeing the readiness and welfare of over 4,500 personnel and military equipment during a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan. Following her retirement, Sergeant Major (Ret.) Olds has continued her commitment to service through active involvement in various community organizations, and this resolution directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide her with an official copy of this commendation.
