This bill mandates that the stub attached to each individual Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) disbursement advice must include new financial information for the current fiscal year, in addition to existing disclosures about dividend eligibility and appropriations for crime victims and other programs. Specifically, the PFD stub will now need to show the total amount appropriated for operating and capital expenditures, broken down by state and federal funds, and this total divided by the number of dividends issued. It will also list the top five state departments by total operating and capital appropriations, detailing state and federal funds for each, and present the total federal and state revenue for the year from various sources including mineral revenues, earnings reserve account transfers, and other state revenue, all divided by the total number of dividends issued. The bill also specifies an effective date of January 1, 2027.
