This bill establishes the "New Hartford Volunteer Exempt Firefighters' Benevolent Association" as a not-for-profit corporation, outlining who is eligible for membership, which includes active volunteer firefighters of the New Hartford Fire Department who have achieved "exempt volunteer firefighter" status as defined by law, provided they haven't been removed for cause and meet certain service requirements, while excluding paid firefighters.
