AN ACT To amend Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 19 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to provisions relative to parent and child relationship generally, so as to revise mandated reporting of child abuse; to provide for definitions; to provide for reporting requirements; to provide for the use of a secure web based reporting platform; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws to amend Title 28 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the General Assembly, so as to make portions of certain records of the General Assembly subject to public disclosure; to provide jurisdiction for enforcement; to provide for attorney’s fees and litigation expenses; to provide for good faith reliance as defense to action; to provide penalties for violations; to provide procedure for commencement of prosecution; to provide for application; to provide for construction;; and for other purposes.
