This bill, amending the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006, requires the State Air Resources Board (the state agency responsible for regulating greenhouse gas emissions) to include in its annual informational report to the Joint Legislative Committee on Climate Change Policies a discussion of international agreements related to climate change or clean technology innovation that affect the implementation of the state's greenhouse gas reduction plan, known as the scoping plan. This addition expands the scope of the report beyond just domestic regulatory requirements, initiatives, and programs to also consider global influences on California's climate change efforts.
