This bill exempts "multiservice health club studios" from existing limits on how much a health studio contract can charge for services, which currently caps payments at $4,400, not including interest or finance charges. A multiservice health club studio is defined as a facility offering at least three of the following: digital platform services, individualized training programs, fitness instructor training, group fitness classes, coworking space, childcare, a swimming pool, a steam room, laundry services, or onsite food and beverage. This change aims to provide flexibility for larger, more comprehensive health club facilities.
