This resolution establishes a committee composed of the President pro tempore of the Senate, the Chair of the Senate Committee on Rules, the Majority Leader of the Senate, the Minority Leader of the Senate, and the Clerk of the Senate to oversee the creation and installation of a portrait of Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears. This committee is authorized to contract for the painting and framing of the portrait, and to ensure its placement within the Capitol building. The Clerk of the Senate is also empowered to use funds from the Senate's contingent fund, which is a fund set aside for unforeseen expenses, to cover the costs associated with this project.
