Additionally, any vehicle or conveyance used in a violation, and the proceeds from such use, can be subject to civil forfeiture. Exceptions are made for law enforcement agencies, first responders, licensed medical professionals providing emergency services, and Idaho state courts and their staff while performing official duties. The bill also outlines how an alien's immigration status will be determined, relying on verification from the federal government.
