This resolution, adopted by the House of Representatives, congratulates and commends Chief Latosha Clemons for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award. The award, established by the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus during Women's History Month, honors outstanding women who embody the leadership and inspiration of Representative Nikki T. Randall, the first African American female elected to the Georgia General Assembly from middle Georgia. Chief Clemons is recognized for her over 25 years of service in the fire service, her historic role as the first African American woman to be Fire Chief in Forest Park, Georgia, and her dedication to operational excellence, community leadership, and service above self, including her current role as Interim City Manager for Forest Park. The resolution directs that a copy of this commendation be provided to Chief Clemons.
