Shoquist Freedom of the Press Award. The resolution highlights how the student journalists, in response to scrutiny from school officials and a proposed stricter media policy, partnered with the Student Press Law Center to develop their own policy, "Voices Unbound," inspired by the New Voices student free press movement. Despite initial resistance, their advocacy garnered community and national support, ultimately securing editorial independence for Theogony and ensuring it can continue to serve the school community. The Clerk of the House of Delegates is directed to prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the staff as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration.
