This bill amends the charter of the City of Acworth, Georgia, which was originally established in 1989 and has been updated since. Specifically, it adopts by reference a map dated January 2, 2026, prepared by the City Clerk, as the official map showing the corporate limits and boundaries of the City of Acworth as of January 1, 2026. This map will be permanently kept in the office of the city clerk and will be known as the "Official Map or Description of the Corporate Limits of the City of Acworth, Georgia." Certified copies of this map will be legally recognized in all courts, having the same authority as the original. The bill also repeals any laws that conflict with these provisions.
