This resolution congratulates the Lincoln Pius X Catholic High School boys cross country team for achieving a significant milestone by becoming the first high school team from Nebraska to qualify for the Nike Cross Nationals, a prestigious national competition held in Portland, Oregon. The team earned this distinction by placing second at the Nike Cross Regionals Heartland Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and ultimately finished twentieth in the nation.
