This bill appropriates $3,000,000 from the state's general fund in fiscal year 2027 to the commissioner of children, youth, and families. This money is designated as a grant for the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to cover costs associated with selecting a site, acquiring property, and undertaking the predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new facility in Minneapolis.
