This resolution directs the House Committee on Ethics to preserve all documents and investigative materials related to any violations or alleged violations of specific House rules concerning sexual harassment and inappropriate relationships by Members, Delegates, or Resident Commissioners. These rules include clause 9, which prohibits sexual harassment, and clause 18, which forbids sexual relationships with House employees under their supervision and unwelcome sexual advances. Furthermore, within 60 days of the resolution's adoption, the Committee must make publicly available all final reports, or the most recent draft reports if no final report exists, along with conclusions, recommendations, exhibits, and accompanying materials, ensuring that the personally identifiable information of victims, alleged victims, and witnesses is removed. This action is taken in recognition that sexual harassment and unwelcome sexual advances by House officials undermine the safety, dignity, and integrity of the House of Representatives.
