The resolution highlights that this partnership, supported by the Hawaii Sister-State and International Partnerships Commission, aims to strengthen institutional collaboration, economic opportunities, and cultural exchanges, benefiting residents, businesses, and students in both regions by promoting sustainable tourism, workforce development, food security, clean energy, climate resilience, and cultural heritage preservation, and will involve sending certified copies of the resolution to various government officials in both countries.
