AN ACT to amend the civil service law, in relation to paid leave for members of the civil air patrol during air force assigned missions

This bill amends existing law to grant paid leave to public officers and employees of the state who are members of the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol or the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Pilots, allowing them to be paid for time off work when participating in emergency services during air force assigned missions, in addition to previously covered emergency services during a declared state of emergency.
