This resolution commends practitioners of Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, in Virginia for their dedication to truthfulness and compassion, their peaceful resistance against persecution by the Chinese Communist Party since 1999, and their efforts to inform Virginians about the risks of organ transplants in the People's Republic of China due to credible reports of organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience. The resolution also acknowledges the positive role Falun Dafa practitioners play in Virginia communities through their commitment to faith and service leadership, and directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy of this resolution to them as an expression of admiration.
