It also calls for age-appropriate content for students from third grade through twelfth grade, including instruction on the biological purpose of the menstrual cycle, culturally relevant views, period poverty, and managing pain, with specific requirements for elementary, middle, and high school levels, including multilingual materials for non-English speakers. The Department of Education is also asked to report on its progress to the Legislature by early 2027.
