This bill modifies the requirements for correction orders issued by the Department of Children, Youth, and Families concerning child care licensing. Specifically, it adds a provision that the commissioner must publicly post notifications of correction orders on the department's website, addressed to the authorized agent of a licensed child care center or licensed family child care provider. This posting will occur after a 20-day period for requesting reconsideration of the order, or after the commissioner has made a decision on a reconsideration request, if one was made. The bill also clarifies that a request for reconsideration does not pause the enforcement of the correction order.
