This bill appropriates funds to the Department of Agriculture for fiscal years 2026 and 2027. * The Department of Agriculture receives $829,900 for operating expenses, capital expenditures, and outlay for fiscal year 2027, funded by various Agricultural Fees funds, the Administration and Accounting Services Fund, the Federal Grant Fund, the Agricultural Inspection Fund, the Invasive Species Fund, the Commercial Feed and Fertilizer Fund, the Hemp Fund, the Quality Assurance Laboratory Services Fund, the Weights and Measures Inspection Fund, the Organic Food Products Fund, and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Inspection Fund. * $1,298,600 is transferred from the General Fund to the Pest Control Deficiency Fund for fiscal year 2026 to reimburse costs incurred by the Plant Industries Program. * The Plant Industries Program receives an additional $3,393,000 for personnel costs, operating expenditures, and capital outlay for fiscal year 2026, funded by the Invasive Species Fund. * Any unexpended and unencumbered balances appropriated or reappropriated to the Department of Agriculture for the Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Grant in fiscal year 2026 are reappropriated for nonrecurring expenditures for fiscal year 2027, funded by the Federal Grant Fund.
