This bill amends existing Idaho law to establish a Medical Education Fund and specify its funding sources and uses, with an effective date of July 1, 2026, due to an declared emergency. The bill modifies Section 33-3731 of the Idaho Code, which outlines contract requirements for state-supported medical students who commit to practicing in Idaho for four years after obtaining their medical license, completing residency, or finishing a fellowship.
