This resolution, passed by both the Tennessee Senate and House of Representatives, formally honors and congratulates Taquez Butler, a student athlete from Walters State Community College, for his outstanding performance and selection to the All-TCCAA First Team. The TCCAA, or Tennessee Community College Athletic Association, is the athletic conference for community colleges in Tennessee. The resolution highlights Mr. Butler's impressive statistics, including averaging 11.7 points and five assists per game, a 4.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, and making 58 three-pointers, all of which contributed to his recognition as a formidable competitor and an exemplary student athlete who brings honor to the state.
