This bill amends existing law to revise how money from the Liquor Account is distributed, with changes taking effect on July 1, 2026. * **Substance Abuse Treatment Fund:** $2,080,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **State Community College Account:** $800,000 annually will be transferred to this account. * **Public School Income Fund:** $1,200,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **Cooperative Welfare Fund:** $650,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Family Court Services Fund:** $680,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **Drug and Mental Health Court Supervision Fund:** $440,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **Idaho Law Enforcement Fund:** $5,000,000 annually will be transferred to this fund. * **Peace Officers Standards and Training Fund:** 1.5% of the remaining balance in the Liquor Account after other transfers will be allocated to this fund. * **General Fund:** 48.5% of the remaining balance in the Liquor Account after other transfers will be allocated to the General Fund. * **Cities and Counties:** The remaining 50% of the balance in the Liquor Account after specified transfers will be distributed to cities and counties based on liquor sales and population, with specific provisions for cities with and without liquor stores. These distributions will decrease as a percentage over time until fiscal year 2023.
