This bill modifies the "Child Abduction Broadcast Act" to also include missing children, allowing radio and television stations that receive information about a child abduction or a missing child from the Michigan Department of State Police under the Michigan Amber Alert Act to broadcast this information through any means, including social media, to help locate the child or apprehend suspects. Furthermore, stations that accurately broadcast such information will be protected from any liability related to the broadcast.
