This resolution, passed by the Senate of the One Hundred Fourteenth General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, honors Adamsville High School students Beau Carroll, DJ Boutwell, JC Owens, and Jasper Weeks for their achievements at the 2026 SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference. SkillsUSA is a national organization that prepares students for careers in trade, technical, and skilled-service occupations. Jasper Weeks won his second consecutive carpentry title, JC Owens excelled in welding structure, DJ Boutwell earned a silver medal in welding, and Beau Carroll also received a silver medal in mobile electronics, demonstrating their talent and dedication which the Senate commends and wishes continued success for in their future endeavors.
