The Honor Guard upholds the spirit of nursing through community service, preserving the memories of deceased nurses with dignified tributes and ceremonies, and celebrating the lives of those who have served. They also support current nurses, inspire others by sharing stories of impactful nursing, and empower nurses through recognition, mentorship, and advocacy, championing the vital role nurses play in their communities. The resolution also mandates that a copy of this commendation be presented to the leadership of the Legacy Keepers Nurse Honor Guard of Arkansas.
