This resolution officially recognizes the Mansfield High School Tigers football team as the 2025 Class 3A state champions, acknowledging their historic undefeated season with 14 wins and 0 losses, their first-ever state championship victory against Fordyce High School with a score of 40-30, and their record-breaking performance in the championship game with 489 rushing yards. The resolution also highlights the team's numerous achievements throughout the season, including setting state records for two-point conversions and scoring the most points across all classifications in Arkansas, as well as recognizing the individual accomplishments of players and the coaching staff, and mandates that a copy of this resolution be presented to Head Coach Whit Overton.
