Born in 1936 and a lifelong resident of Haywood County, Mr. Mann was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Law School, practicing law from 1961 to 2023. He was also a successful businessman with a passion for farmland and a devoted advisor to young men. Mr. Mann was a significant civic leader in Brownsville, instrumental in projects like the Brownsville Amphitheater and the restoration of Tina Turner's childhood schoolhouse. He was also a supporter of the arts and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed extensive travel. The resolution expresses sympathy to his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, and friends, acknowledging his legacy of integrity, compassion, and dedication.
