This Joint Memorial respectfully remembers Bishop Kenneth Lydell Robinson Sr., who passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of sixty-one, and acknowledges his significant contributions to the state and his community. Bishop Robinson was a multifaceted individual, serving as a pastor, singer, musician, radio personality, and businessman throughout his life in Central Arkansas. He began preaching at a young age and became a pastor at eighteen, eventually becoming the senior pastor of Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church in Little Rock and a founding father of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International movement, where he also served as a regional bishop. His extensive involvement in gospel music included hosting a radio show, leading a musical group, and holding leadership positions in organizations like the Gospel Music Workshop of America. He was also the founder and president of Robinson Mortuary. The memorial also notes his fifty years of ministry and his legacy as a visionary leader whose faith touched many lives, and it directs that a copy of this resolution be provided to his family.
