The bill removes provisions that limited the duration of these agreements, extending their effectiveness indefinitely from their original start dates, and adjusts the expiration dates for related provisions in a 2024 law concerning the use of county jails to May 23, 2033, and May 28, 2033, respectively, thereby solidifying the long-term validity of these intergovernmental detention arrangements.
