This resolution, passed by the House of Representatives of the Ninety-Fifth General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, formally recognizes Randall Christy for his crucial role in saving the Great Passion Play, a significant outdoor theatrical production in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, which had faced closure in 2012 due to financial difficulties. Christy, founder of The Gospel Station Network, successfully raised $75,000 in just ten days to ensure the continuation of the play for the 2013 season and continues to work on its improvement, including fundraising for a new baptismal facility. The resolution also commemorates the upcoming sixtieth anniversary of the Christ of the Ozarks statue, a massive concrete sculpture overlooking the Great Passion Play's amphitheater, which has been a major attraction since its dedication in 1966. Upon adoption, a copy of this resolution will be presented to Randall Christy as a token of appreciation.
