This resolution officially recognizes the Mountain Home High School Lady Bombers girls' cross country team as the 2025 Class 5A state champions, celebrating their victory in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where they secured the title with a score of 86 points, six points ahead of the second-place team. This marks their first state championship since 2021 and their third in the last six years, with the team also achieving a historic sweep by winning both the boys' and girls' Class 5A state championships for the first time in the program's history. The resolution also acknowledges the team members, their coaches, athletic trainers, team manager, athletic director, principal, assistant principals, assistant superintendent, and superintendent for their contributions to this significant achievement. Upon adoption, a copy of this resolution will be presented to Head Coach Tilda Helgesson.
