The measure highlights her extensive contributions across Illinois—including serving as a teacher, principal, and administrator in Peoria, Springfield, and Danville—and celebrates her major achievements as superintendent, such as eliminating a multi-million-dollar financial deficit, boosting student graduation rates from 65% to 81%, increasing staff diversity, and establishing innovative programs like a community support center and international teacher recruitment initiatives.
