This bill, titled the "Destroying Unnecessary, Misaligned, and Prohibitive Red Tape Act" or "DUMP Red Tape Act," directs the Chief Counsel for Advocacy of the Small Business Administration to establish a "Red Tape Hotline." The Chief Counsel will be required to set up accessible methods for these notifications, such as an email address, submission form, or phone number, and a user-friendly website. Furthermore, the Chief Counsel must submit an annual report to the Small Business Administration and Congress detailing the most frequently reported burdensome regulations, the types of entities affected, the agencies responsible, and recommendations for reducing this burden, along with a summary of actions taken to address these issues.
