Furthermore, the bill gives pesticide manufacturers the ability to immediately update their product warning labels to address new health or environmental risks without waiting for prior EPA approval, while still allowing the EPA to later review and reject those label changes if necessary. These new provisions apply broadly to any civil lawsuits that are currently pending or filed in the future, and they ensure that existing state liability and legal rights for damages or court orders remain fully protected.
