This bill mandates that the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), a public agency responsible for most public transportation in the Boston metropolitan area, officially designate the Greenbush Station located in Scituate, Massachusetts, as "The Frank M. Hynes Station at Greenbush." The MBTA will be required to install and maintain appropriate signs at the station reflecting this new name, following its own established standards, with a one-time allocation of funds for the creation of these signs. Importantly, despite this official designation, the station will continue to be referred to as "The Greenbush Station" on all Department of Transportation (DOT) materials.
