This bill, by overriding any existing laws that might prevent it, officially designates two specific housing developments in the town of Acton, Massachusetts. The family housing development at 3-14 Sachem Way will now be known as McManus Village, named to honor a former Executive Director of the Acton Housing Authority for her service. Similarly, the affordable rental housing construction at 15-26 Sachem Way will be designated as Whittlesey Village, in recognition of a former Chairman's dedicated service to the same authority. In both cases, the Acton Housing Authority is responsible for installing and maintaining appropriate signs to mark these designations.
