This bill amends existing New Mexico law to allow small brewers, who are licensed to manufacture and sell beer, to conduct tastings and sell beer for consumption off their premises at up to three additional locations, provided they obtain a special permit for each location and meet certain requirements. Previously, small brewers were limited to two such off-premises locations. The bill also clarifies that these off-premises sales and tastings are subject to the same hours and limitations as on-premises sales, including restrictions on Christmas and voting days, and allows for extended Sunday sales hours. Additionally, the bill removes a repealed section of law related to small brewer licenses and sets an effective date of July 1, 2015.
