This bill appropriates $14,500,600 from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for fiscal year 2016 to provide a two percent salary increase to eligible public employees who have completed their probationary period and have satisfactory job performance, with the increases taking effect the first full pay period after July 1, 2015. This funding is allocated to various state entities, including legislative employees, judicial and district attorney permanent employees, and employees in agencies governed by the State Personnel Act, the New Mexico state police career pay system, the attorney general's office, workers' compensation judges, and executive exempt employees.
