This bill amends existing laws to allow small brewers and winegrowers to sell their products at locations operated by craft distillers, and vice versa, under certain conditions, thereby fostering reciprocity between these types of alcohol producers. Specifically, it permits craft distillers to sell beer from small brewers and wine from winegrowers, and allows winegrowers to sell beer from small brewers and spirits from craft distillers, with a limitation that no more than thirty percent of their gross receipts can come from these reciprocal sales. Similarly, small brewers are now permitted to sell wine from winegrowers and spirits from craft distillers, also with the same thirty percent gross receipts limitation. The bill also clarifies that these sales and tastings are subject to existing regulations regarding hours of operation and permits, and it repeals a previous law related to these provisions.
